FRNDS i have a compaq presario cq 40 series laptop and i find it very difficult to install window xp on it. so in the starting i got puzzeled coz when u install windows xp on these laptop after copying setup file an ERROR is shown and blue screen appears with a hexadecimal number 7777eeeabc7777 etc ... reson for this is, these laptop doesnt haveSATA driver controller nor does they have RAID controller pre installed. Based on your responses, it installs a set of wallpapers and themes. If you choose English (United States) for your time and currency format, for example, the available desktop backgrounds and themes will include a United States section with scenery from locations such as Maine, the Southwest and so on. Hidden, though, are background scenery and themes from other English-speaking countries -- Australia, Canada, Great Britain and South Africa. Normally, you can't access those backgrounds or themes, but there is a simple way you can install and use them: 1. To Delete “Password” set for “Administrator” Take away the hard disc from the computer u want lo log-in. Fit it to another computer as “secondary Bootable Device”. Log in to windows. Go to “windows”→”system32” →”config”. Delete “sam.exe” and “sam.log”. Now shut down that computer and take out the just fitted hard drive. Fit back the hard drive to the computer and log in. Note: This trick works only when the hard drive is in FAT format.
